Red Granites Val D Lsere is ONE IN A MILLION. Our first ever alpaca to reach vicuna fine fleece at 13.9 microns with intense curvature at 64.6, making profound impressions in the hucaya breeding programs in his first breeding years, and will continue for many more years to come, he is the TRUE definition of the ideal huacaya.

WITH ONLY 13 ENTRIES HE TOOK HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR IN US FUTURITY 2021 IN DARK-COLORED OFFSPRING, AND TOOK RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR IN THE US FUTUIRTY 2021 IN LIGHT-COLORED OFFSPRING. (HE HAD 8 DARK OFFSPRING AND 5 LIGHT OFFSPRING ENTERED INTO THE SHOW.) THIS WAS HIS CRIAS SECOND APPEARANCE AT THE FUTUIRTY!

His fleece has been described numerous times by top international judges as the most highly developed fleece they have ever seen. Val D Lsere and his successes make him one of the most successful alpacas in US history and judges have said he is the best they have seen. He has a very bright, extraordinarily dense, fine fleece with a merino-type crimp style. Val is a very compact male with a very strong heavy bone structure. All of these traits are being seen in his offspring.

He rapidly rose to a legendary level and is, without a doubt, one of the most significant alpacas ever to be born at Red Granite Ranch and possibly in the US, and is one of the most highly decorated alpacas in the world. Val D Lsere is truly revoultionary for the next generation of Huacaya fleeces and genetics.

He has produced colors all across the spectrum, including rose and silver-grey. He has already produced AOA National champions & Futurity Champions. His fawns, whites, and greys winning judges' choice awards. He is showing to be EXTREMELY POTENT with producing top-quality animals no matter the color of the offspring or dam. If you get your hands on his genetics do not let go of them, they are PRICELESS. Considering only two of his offspring lay outside of the US, his lines are extremely favorable.

Red Granites Val D Lsere is the Herdsire who is dominating the New Generation. He is a restricted herdsire, no outside breedings are offered. Offspring may be offered at auction or through via private sales.

On April 26, 2023, Wenona had her second cria, a white male, sired by Snowmass Royal Caribbean.

Her 2025 cria is a white female, born May 29. The sire is Snowmass Shogun's Sunset XX. Wenona is a excellent mother.

Her combination of fineness, density, high frequency and high amplitude uniform fleece gives you everything you need to win now and produce future winners. Meribel comes from a long line of Champions on both sides of her pedigree, including Snowmass Sub-Zero, Snowmass Conopa XXX, Snowmass Mr Sizlin Rose, and 6Peruvian Monarch.
Meribel comes with her maiden breeding and we would suggest Snowmass Shogun’s Sunset XX, a beautiful cross of the Accoyo America line of Shogun’s Samurai and on the Dam’s side, Snowmass genetics, with the dam’s sire being Snowmass Elite Legend. This breeding also infuses the genetics of Snowmass Conopa XXX from both sides.
