Bred to Jumanji's Buckeye for 2026 Cria

FIR Augustine's SunburstBred

Huacaya, Female, Proven | Dark Fawn

AOA# 36191017   D.O.B. 5/15/2021 (5 yrs)  (Due Date: 6/12/2026)

Sire:
1. Crescent Moon's Accoyo Augustine
| AOA# 32156355  | Medium Fawn  |
We are so happy Crescent Moon Ranch and Odin Falls Alpacas offered Augustine for sale at the 2020 Amber Autumn Auction. Augustine will bring his elite bloodlines to any herd. Augustine, a 13 time champion is a fawn full Accoyo Titan son from an Accoyo America Polaris daughter. Augustine has produced offspring in white, beige, fawn, brown and black. As of today many of his offspring are champions, a few are multiChampions. Augustine was awaraded Herdsire of the Year in the medium farm division for The Futurity 2021. We look forward to breeding him across our herd, combined with our El Guapo genetics. Introductory breedings have sold out, Augustine is closed to outside breedings. We have Augustine offspring and females bred to him for sale.

Dam:
Snowmass Diamond Sunset XX
| AOA# 35101079  | Dark Fawn  |
Snowmass Diamond Sunset XX is a beautiful dark fawn female. Her fleece is very well organized and fine. Her EPD's are awesome for a dark fawn, it's no wonder with Snowmass Matrix 3 back on both sides. Her first cria for us was out of Jumanji and produced a male, Jumanji's Game Changer who has done very well in halter classes and Bred & Owned. Her most recent cria, a female born 6/2021 out of Crescent Moon's Accoyo Augustine looks amazing with the same fading pattern as Diamond. We are looking forward to seeing Sunburst mature.
Service Sire:
Crescent Moon's Wilkinson
| AOA# 32670981  | Medium Silver Grey  |
Crescent Moon's Wilkinson is proudly co-owned with Buck Brook Alpacas. He will be in Virginia from March 1 until June 30 each year. Please ask about discounts for multiple breedings.

Crescent Moon's Wilkinson was a once in lifetime addition opportunity to add superior grey genetics to our farm. A multi-champion including 2x National Champion, he is superior in fleece and conformation. Beautiful curb appeal attributed to his sire Accoyo America Jason. His fleece boasts superior staple length, extreme uniformity and brightness. Wilkinson has a great easy going temperament as well. We will be opening Wilkinson for outside breeding until December 31, 2024. Don't pass up this special opportunity to add impeccable grey genetics to your herd.

Description

FIR Augustine’s Sunburst is the obvious standout of our 2021 crias. Get your shades ready when you go to look at her incredibly bright fleece! Sunburst is just what we expected when we bred our Futurity Herdsire of the Year, Crescent Moon’s Accoyo Augustine to Snowmass Diamond Sunset XX. Along with extreme brightness, Sunburst has an exceptionally fine, uniform and well-organized dense fleece. Her conformation is perfect, she stands tall, straight and proud with excellent bone structure and an absolutely gorgeous head! Sunburst is sure to be a show winner, so add her to your show string and when she is ready, breed her to one of our outstanding dark herdsires. Sunburst had a great showing at TxOLAN, her first show.

UPDATE: Sunburst had her first cria, a girl, on May 14, 2024. Sire is Crescent Moon's Wilkinson.

Sunburst delivered her second cria, a Roan male on May 19, 20025. Sire is Crescent Moon's Wilkinson.
