    Top producer.

Journie ribboned in every show she was entered. A judge described her fleece as highly advanced for a grey and another commented on her brightness and long staple length. She is healthy with correct conformation, bite and proportions from her nose to her toes as well as a lovely, uniformly fine (low SD) and bright fleece. She has one of the most typey heads you'll find on a gray and a people friendly disposition.

Her sire is 7x champion Peruvian Black Epic who is considered ...

    Description

"Trekker" is certainly a Travelin Man, he started out life in the state of Washington then made the move to Missouri. He's a phenomenal herdsire out of the Kissing Cousins Alpaca Farm breeding program. This male has amazing fleece quality, we're looking forward to seeing what he does with our females.

Since most of his breeder's foundation females were related to Trekker, his use as a stud there was fairly limited. We feel very lucky to add his quality fiber genetics and well known Hannahruh and Black Magic appaloosa producing bloodlines to our herd.

Trekker has not been genetically color tested but from the results we've seen with his cria on the ground, he definitely carries both a dilution gene and black gene. He's produced a couple of stellar male cria for us fall 2022, see Sterling Greyson and Martin. Update: Summer 2023 we have a lovely, petite light fawn female named Junebug from Trekker! A local Missouri farm also had a female cria named Lyra, who is brown with black points.

If you'd like to book a breeding, please contact us.
