Raynay's Silmaril by Electrofyre

Suri, Herdsire (Male), Unproven | White

AOA# 36032723   D.O.B. 8/21/2020

Sire:
WLK Electrofyre
| AOA# 31978002  | White  |
4/15/2019 UPDATE!! Electrofyre is now solely owned by Raynay Alpaca Farm and will be residing in North Carolina. His offspring have proven themselves as champions and producers of champions. To date they have earned 69 championships, 2 National Supreme Championships, 3 Judge's Choice and 3 Best Awards. We are offering limited outside breedings at this time so here is your chance to put some FYRE power in your herd!!

2019 EPD's are out and Electrofyre doesn't disappoint! Top 1% in 3 categories and Top 5% in 3 categories.

Dr Norm Evan's Biopsy report:

“WLK Electrofyre” was biopsied as a 3 year old white Suri male. His ARI# is 31778002. His 15X scan shows fiber clusters that are very symmetrical and uniform in size, shape and placement within his connective tissue. This trait likely passed from his dam. His density is 55.25 follicles SQ MM of skin and his S/P ratio from 25 clusters averages 8.5 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250X scan that greater than 80% of his secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers. He shows level 4 of 4 gland structure. This trait was likely passed from his sire. The glandular infrastructure is likely genetic and gland density is likely nutritional. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 20.8 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 26.3 microns. This equates to a micron variation of only 5.5 microns. Note from all scans the grey areas around the follicles which should create super luster as well as being a genetic trait passed from the sire to his offspring. His strongest trait is likely his fineness with only a 5.5 micron spread. This trait with few fibers greater than 30 microns appears also to be a strong trait passed from the sire to the offspring as well. His density averages 20% greater than the best Suri males and with 80% of this secondary fiber medullated, he likely feels even more dense. This male is strong with genetic fiber traits.

Dam:
BIG TIMBER'S STAR MAGNOLIA
| AOA# 35113188  | White  |
UPDATE: Star delivered a white female cria September 2021. Her sire is 2 X Futurity Champion Maxamus!

UPDATE: Results from the 2021 CAC Fleece Show: Scored 77 points, senior AOA Judge Cheryl Gehly said " Such fine secondaries for age in this high luster fleece-although primaries are distinct, they are still holding good fineness for age!"

Introducing the stunning Big Timber’s Star Magnolia, sired by multi-champion Pucara Puresuri Madiba and out of a Kahuna daughter, Princess Georgia. Star Magnolia’s genetics are indisputably the highest quality on BOTH sides of the genetic equation with her star-studded ancestors, Kahuna, Viho, Inca, Bruxo and Silkworm.

These awesome genetics have infused into Star Magnolia extreme luster and density, low micron fineness and a silky soft handling fleece. Her highly organized lock structure highlights a strong, feminine frame.

Star Magnolia’s EPDs are highly ranked in all categories. Her dam, Princess Georgia, has outstanding density at 65 follicles SQMM with a S/P ratio of 11.3 to 1 and a biopsy AFD of 21 microns at four years of age. Princess Georgia is ranked in the top 1% in EPD traits FW and MSL. Star Magnolia's sire, Madiba, is ranked in the top 5% in all the EPD traits.
Although her fineness, density and uniformity are exceptional, Star Magnolia truly shines in her extreme luster. She claimed Best Luster in Show at the competitive 2017 Suri Network Fleece Show with over 240 entries, with luster scores of 18.5 out of 20.

Star Magnolia is confirmed bred to 7X Champion and 2X Judges Choice, HFS Jeremiah. Jeremiah is in the top 5% of most of the EPD traits. He has incredible fineness, uniformity and lock structure on a strong, masculine frame. Bringing his Rockstar and Baron Lafite genetics to the table, this cria will be a knock out.

Star delivered a 17 pound white white white male cria on 9/28/2018. It is her first cria, you always worry about maternal instincts with new moms, she is so attentive to her cria and thankfully has plenty of milk. Thanks Sue King for combining these genetics, I think he is going to turn some heads!

Description

We are so excited to have Silmaril as part of our herd sire row. We are honored to co-own him with Sapaveco Ranch and Flying Dutchman Alpacas.

Silamril's genetics are out of this world. His sire is the famous Electrofyre, one of the top white herdsires in the country and his dam is Big Timber's Star Magnolia, a stunning female from our breeding program, now owned by Raynay Alpacas.

As an 12X champion, Silmaril rocked the halter show world with awesome fleece and beautiful conformation. His dense fleece exhibits an extremely bright, glistening luster and a highly organized and aligned lock structure which propels him to the top of his competition. His sparkling luster virtually radiates from his strong masculine frame.

To cap off the 2022 show season, Silmaril won top honors as the first place male suri in the 2022 AOA inaugural TOP POINTS for all Suri males in the 2022 show season.
