Description

One of the key females in our breeding program driving our focus to increase fleece weight will undoubtably be Miss Amulette du DNA. Despite being one of the youngest members of the 2022 cria crop, she produced the heaviest blanket at her first shearing in May 2023, marking an incredible start to her journey as a future foundation female.

She exhibits strong traits that align with our breeding program’s goals. Her fleece is incredibly dense with a pleasing handle. With a blanket that is deprived of visible guard hair, Amulette’s fleece exhibits a highly aligned crimp that is uniform throughout with great level of brightness. Complementing her fleece is a phenotypically pleasing conformation, with a strong frame and great head style.

As one of the select Tiger Lily Conopa’s Smoak daughters in our breeding program, Amulette carries the genetics of strong bloodlines. On her sire’s side, she descends from the Snowmass Conopa XXX line and Bolivian Ice Man, via his best daughter nonetheless; Tiger Lily Samantha Ice.
She also takes her place as the strongest female produced by Ariva, sharing this distinction with her maternal sister, Auriflamme. Her dam is our last MMR Marocoyo daughter, a herdsire that has been incredibly valuable in our breeding program’s history.
