Description

Big Timber's Golden Girl is a genetic powerhouse with multigenerational champions up and down her pedigree.

We love her dark genetics including Midas' Black Ice, Chakotah, Captain Morgan, Captain's Picasso, Bluegrass Peruvian Rhythm & Blues, Way Too Cool, Tatiana and Swiss Miss. Her sire, Iced Kola, is a champion Black Ice son who has produced champion offspring. Black Ice was a 12X Champion and JC winner. Iced Kola is extremely dense with great fineness, luster and lock structure. Golden Girl's dam, Dairy Maid, brings fineness and uniformity to the mix.

Golden Girl's fleece exhibits great density and a beautiful lock structure along with fineness, uniformity and amazingly long staple length. Her fleece scorecard shows excellent scores: 14 of 15 for fineness and handle; 8 of 10 for uniformity; 4 of 5 for secondary/primary micron range; 5 of 5 for absence of fibers>30; and 8 of 10 for lock structure. Her excellent uniformity and fineness scores are what we look for in a top-quality breeding female. Her first histogram is in showing a fine fleece at 19.7 micron and a fleece weight of 6 lbs. Her staple length of 232 mm is amazing and expected as her sire, Iced Kola has long staple length.

Golden Girl is a large, strong framed female with solid bone and great conformation. An excellent combination of positive conformation and fleece traits for producing beautiful offspring.
