We are very pleased that our impressions have been validated by his show results in his six appearances, with tough East coast competition, under six different judges. With 2 RC's and 3 CC banners by the age of 14 months, KCF Mudslide is off to an impressive start.
The reality is that we just can't think of anything that we would elect to change about Mudslide. His conformation is of course a given. And that conformation is on a frame with great mass and stature. In fact, although at 14 months or less, Mudslide was always among the youngest in his classes, let's just say he was never among the smallest, he is a big boy.. We appreciate this feature in our stud males as long as they are proportional like Mudslide, more to love aye....
On the fleece side, well, it's all that jazz. With a 16.6 AFD and 3.6 SD, 21.6 CV, and 100% CF what's not to like? We particularly love the fineness relative to density, with the density being off the charts so to speak. The degree of density is created by the matchstick staples within thick locks, a great example of the tertiary bundling Mr. Safley use to mention from time to time. And in the words of another Ol' Timer, "That doesn't suck....".
So, having said all that, we hope that you will consider KCF Mudslide for a few of your top tier girls this year. He's got the goods, and the right attitude, and we think he's going to get the job done earlier than most. We'll let you know cause' we sure plan on giving him a go!
