Unfortunately, we said good-by to 5C's Captain Midnight in April 2023. Necropsy report failed to give us any reason for his untimely death. We are fortunate to have a few of his offspring to carry on his amazing legacy.


We knew Captain Midnight was special the minute he was born. We had no idea just HOW special. Captain currently has 18 banners in both halter and fleece. One of those banners is a coveted Judges Choice Fleece. At his very first show Captain was 1st and CC as the youngest entry in his yearling class. 5C's Captain Midnight won Champion and Res. Champion banners for his 2-year old and yearling fleeces at the 2015 AOA Fleece Conference!!!! These placements and that of his little brother Cardiac Arrest earned Cinco C's Alpacas the Classic Breeder's Cup at the Conference.


Captain Midnight is one of the Best of our Best. His dam, 5C's Chocotini is one of our highly coveted females. Her fleece is still amazing at 12 years old. She and LMFI Peruvian Black Midnight have shared their best attributes in producing this amazing male. We are extremely proud to have produced this male. His fleece exhibits extreme density, well-defined crimp and an incredible hand, characteristics usually found in only the lightest fleeces. You must get your hands on this fleece to believe it.

Captain's crias have arrived and they are stunning. His crias have remarkable fleeces and at this time colors range from TB to LF and include classic grey. Several champion offspring make Captain the real deal. Call to schedule a visit to get your hands on some of them.

Captain Midnight is currently at Cinco C's Alpacas. His offspring are truly beautiful. He adds amazing brightness, crimp and density to every cria we have seen. His daughter 5C's Circe has been chosen as our auction lot for the POC Auction in June 2022.

***** 5C's Captain Booker (TB) and 5C's Captain Cognac (MB) are 2 of Captain Midnight's amazing sons. Both of these outstanding males won Color Championships at the 2021 AOA National Fleece Show. Captain Booker has been sold to Alpakas von Spiegel in Switzerland to stand stud for them. Captain Cognac will remain at Cinco C's Alpacas and has a very busy breeding season for 2022. We are very proud of what Captain Midnight has accomplished for us.

Silver Sunshine is a proven dam, but she’s at her best as a companion, very attentive and wise beyond her years. She mostly likes to eat hay, snack on pellets or apples and hang with the herd.

Silver Sunshine makes friends easily and loves to learn new things, like actually drinking from the hose after everyone gets their cool down sprays. She is a joy!

Congratulations Andrew and Jessie! We’re so excited to send beautiful Gigi to her new farm in Connecticut! Thank you.

Gigi is a beautiful light fawn girl with solid bone structure and confirmation. Fleece has brightness and density with great crimp and staple length.

With sire Cinco C’s Captain Midnight and our Silver Sunshine, she has excellent genetics. True Black and Gray potential.

Gigi is halter trained and gets along well with the herd. As a cria she won 2 red ribbons at her first show. Since she’s been shorn her new fleece is coming in with consistency and a more compact crimp. She really is a beautiful girl!
