Description

We purchased Gomez's dam, Seleena at the AOA auction from Ameripaca and she has blessed us with award winning offspring from day one. Her 2022 cria has been all the rage so far in the Fall 2023 Shows by way of her new owners, Shelhart Acres Alpaca Farm. Her 2023 cria has all the makings of another show stopper!

Gomez has very organized and lustrous fleece on a sound frame. He is only 1 of 3 offspring from our up and coming herdsire, Silk's Messenger of the Gods. Messenger is in the top 10% in 4 EPD categories and he boasts incredible SHIP scores in fleece: Luster 5; Fineness 5; Uniformity of Micron 4 (Primary fine and Secondary fine); Density 3.5+; Lock Structure 4; Handle 5; Uniformity of Color 5; Fleece Phenotype 5.

UPDATE: This is our 3rd consecutive year being very heavy in males during our birthing season. Gomez finished strong in halter and the fleece shows in 2025. He was a 2 X Color Champion in halter AND the 2025 White Male Suri Color Champion at the Suri Network Fleece Show. We forwarded his fleece to the PAOBA Fleece Show and he not only won the White Suri Color Championship but went on to secure the 2025 PAOBA Fleece Show Judge's Choice Suri. The judge also awarded his fleece the Best Hand and the Best Lock at PAOBA.
