In 2026 Ziba will be bred to females sired by Max Factor.

Things to consider as a breeder: An alpaca that produces a 5 lb fleece with 2 inches of fibre, would produce 7.5 lbs with 3 inches and 10lbs with 4 inches.
Many alpacas that are todays Champions, when they reach the age of 4 or 5, cannot produce 3 iches of blanket fleece and not 2 inches of neck fibre.
leaving 10+ yrs of shearing every 2nd year or having a very small amount of usable fibre/yr.

Description

King Kahn is the result of breeding 2 of our highest staple and fleece weight alpacas together to get get maximum staple length and weight for extended years of growth. He will be the ideal male to breed into females with short, dense high frequency fleece.

2025 total shear weight - 10.7 lbs - 9.5 months growth. King Kahn was the heaviest shearing juvie on the farm.

We Bred Class Act to Ziba, to see the possibility of crossing 2 massive fleece producers and the result is King Kahn. After cria shearing him July 10th, his regrowth is very impressive. Very bright fleece, nice architecture and density. We rebred his Dam back to Ziba after his arrival.

Watch for him (and full brother) at the CNASF and Majestic 2026 April spring double Show.
