Description

Despite facing some challenges and setbacks, Miss Aulympia du DNA is slowly coming into her own.
Born under 10 lbs, “Tiny” needed extra care & attention during the first week of her life. She was kept in the house during her first night and feed every 2 hours before ultimately needing a plasma transfusion the next day to survive. As soon she received plasma, she was up, nursing and running! Aulympia is still small, but she’s packing a big, feisty, independent and nonchalant personality. She sure is cute!

Like her dam, Aulympia will most likely remain compact compared to our average alpacas – let’s remind that crias born over 20 lbs are quite common here. She has correct proportions, a nice broad chest, and a typey, delicate head with adorable dark features.

She is the first cria out of Birchleaf Stand Elite. Elite has won many awards during her show career: Judge’s Choice, Best Crimp, Best Handle & 8 Championships. Her sire, Averegan’s Magnus, also has an impressive show record with 2 Supremes & 6 Championships, now producing Judge’s Choice’s, Best Crimp’s, Best Brightness’ winners and many champions in every colours. She combines the genetics of Xanadu P. Resolute to MFI & TNT Peruvian Foundation.
Aulympia is our first Magnus daughter born in 2 years. His daughters are turning into great foundation females, I don’t think we could ever have enough!

She inherited of that bright fleece Magnus is known to produced. Her fleece cracks open nicely, an indication of great density. Can’t wait to see how she’ll mature…
