Description

Breeding to improve the next generation is all about finding the best combinations. For starters, we all know that crossing Jeremiah’s genetics (trough his son, MFI & TNT Foundation) to Resolute has brought incredible results. Unbeknown to many Canadian breeders, combining Jeremiah’s genetics to Alpacajoy Excelsior’s line is also yielding fruitful results in Europe, producing multi-champion Alpacajoy Afterglow of Creation (out of a Jeremiah’s grandson and Excelsior’s ¾ sibling).

Introducing Birchleaf Stand Elite, the female that will make these combinations possible in our program. Her name says it all. Elite is a petite and boxy female, described as having a “freakish density”. I fell in love with this female when I first saw her at the 2022 Spring Show for the amount and quality of fleece she is carrying on her frame.
Her performances in shows are the proof that we have a special female in our hands. At her first show in 2022, she won Reserve White Champion behind the Supreme, she was only getting started! She won an additional 8 Championships, a Best Crimp award, a Best Handle award and a JUDGE’S CHOICE! At the Alpaga Québec 2023 Spring Show, Elite won 1st in her class, standing in front of our very own Miss Aucéanie du DNA, and was awarded Reserve Champion behind our other white female, TP Beauty of Legend!

Her dam, Birchleaf Stand Up, is full sibling to US Judge’s Choice, Birchleaf Stand Alone. Her sire, Birchleaf Foundations Ziba, is from Birchleaf Zena, a Supreme Champion that produces many Supreme Champions. Stand Elite is following that path. Her grandsire is the great MFI & TNT Foundation, an incredible male from Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah.
