    Can you say AMAZING Fleece? We never showed him because we thought of him as being small for his age. Of course he put everything in his fleece growth and we had to shear him as a cria, as he was just too hot during the summer. When we sheared his 2nd fleece we were amazed at the luster, density, solidity of lock and greasy slick feel.

    AWH Moulin Faon by Torbio is one of those solid producers. She is still giving us show quality crias and is a great mother. Her daddy is the one, the only Pperuvian Torbio, and her mama boasts bloodlines from Inca and some of Pucara’s best foundation stock. As a juvenile she won "Best Head" and continues to exhibit that trait. She is my favorite Hobbit.

    Description

    Who's My Daddy Now? has a story to tell. A case of mistaken paternal parentage when she was registered. Either Daddy would have been great, but it turns out it was really El Dorado Accoyo Rubicon, and I"m glad to have those outstanding genetics. Rubicon stood at the pinnacle of EPD's for AFD for quite awhile, so imagine what he brought to the table!

    Because of her spunky cria behavior she became known as Peppy-- much easier to say than her full name.
    Peppy's mom is my all-time favorite alpaca, AWH Torbio's Moulin Faon (AKA the Hobbit because of all the fleece down her legs and between her toes). She was one of the original Peruvian Torbio daughters, with her mom's side going back to Pperuvian Inca and Pucara Halcyon. She gave us another outstanding baby this year!

    Peppy's 2024 female cria, AWH Sicario's Teacake just sold as a juvenile. Teacake has the most amazing "face paint" aside from dense, greasy locks. Peppy and RGSA Sicario make an OUTSTANDING combo! She will make an amazing foundation fawn herd for new owners, Zahler Farm. Congratulations, Wes and Matt!

    I can't wait to see her new cria. I'm holding my breath.
