Description

Masquerade is a beutiful girl. She takes her markings after her maternal grandfather (AutumnSun's Major General). She's young so let's let her father and Grandfather's accomplishements speak for her. She is appaloosa spotted like her grandfather. Brown to the skin with white face but her GENOTYPE IS eea1a2 classic grey. Interesting since she appears dark brown in phenotype.

We think this boy is the darkest 'silky' type we have seen! His fiber is slick and shiny that it looks and almost feels wet! Even judge Tim Lavan commented that his fiber looked almost like it was wet!

He has LOTS of fiber on him, and with a really long staple so that it droops somewhat when he is at his peak length. But don't be fooled by this and think that he is not dense... he has a lot of fiber packed on him!

2nd 2014 Futurity - Multi yearling. Amanda Vandenbosch. We were definitely impressed at the caliber of animals brought to this competition. Therefore, we were extremely proud to stand among the champions, beating out some very nice animals.
3rd - 2013 TxOLAN, dark brown juvenile - Tim Lavan, Favorable comments about his conformation, density and fineness and "so shiny he looks wet" but dinged for having other colors/white fibers.
