From Snowmass Alpacas 2022 Sire Book: The Enchanted sire line is known for its showy, heavy boned phenotypes and frequent dark E color with excellent maintenance of fineness and uniformity of micron through adulthood. Because he did not carry an MC1R dilution mutation, we bred Enchanted across the full range of Snowmass genetics. He also carried the "a1" black ASIP alele which is associated with a higher percentage of true black/silver grey offspring, and of course many of his descendants do as well. Enchanted's son Snowmass Enchanted Wave is likely to ultimately exceed his sire with respect to his genetic contribution to the current herd. His Genotype Ee Aa.
