WELL THERE SHE IS !!! We had been hoping for her dam Tamara to produce a black female for years now and she finally delivered...with a fawn sire nonetheless! With a history of producing classic grey males when bred to grey, Tamara finally produced a little black gem with sire Jophiel!

Azamara is everything we could expect from this pairing; a stunning headstyle (which both parents are known for) and tons of fleece on a strong, boxy frame. On top of her eye-catching look, Azamara has above average density and staple length. Her dam still sits at the top 5% EPD for MSL and we see this trait be passed on to every single one of her crias which often end up ranking in the top 1% for MSL. Azamara's sire lineage combines Snowmass Conopa's XXX and Snowmass Pure Reserve XX which has produced many Colour Champions and Judge Choices throughout the years.

We expect her second fleece to be even more impressive as her paternal line is known for fleece traits developing greatly into that yearling phase! Sorry folks, this one is not for sale as she will become an important part of our breeding program moving forward.

Azamara will be part of our 2025 show crew and we can't wait to see what lies ahead for this little black gem!

UPDATE SPRING 2025: Azamara had a great first show season, winning Colour Champion Black Female at the Alpaga Québec show and consistently finishing at the top of her classes in either 1st or 2nd place.
