This boy has captured our heart from the start! Born by C-section in hospital, this little male definitely had a bit of a rough start in life but his will to live was unmatched. His dam Velvet had had complications from a torsion a few years back and the vets didn't know if she would still be able to conceive so he was already a little miracle in itself before even being born. After the c-section, his dam completly rejected him (we tried everything to have her bond with him to no avail) but the good news is that he was adopted by another one of our females shortly after! As this will be Velvet's last cria, we will certainly continue to cherish this special little roan male!

Blending the Pure Passion, Conopa, Enchanted and Velvet Touche lines, Purely Enchanted's pedigree is one of the most impressive in our herd and the results speak for themselves. This male has a very appealing headstyle and a compact and well-balanced frame. He's covered from head to toe in a rich roan coloured fibre that is very uniform and extremelty fine. He also has a long staple, a good crimp and brightness to his fleece. Just an overall beautiful handle to this male's fleece! On top of his delightful look and fleece, PE is also the sweetest boy and a little social butterfly! He is a great farm abassador as he's always one the first to greet us in the barn or meet visitors by the fence.

Although Purely Enchanted was on the smaller side as a juvenile, we decided to include him in our 2025 show crew for the Walking Fleece. He went on to win Reserve Champion Roan in Walking Fleece right behind the Supreme Male Champion (Judge's Choice) of the Alpaga Québec 2025 Halter Show and Supreme Champion Walking Fleece! To say he was up against though competition in roan is clearly an understatement!!! Walking Fleece judge Kevin O'Leary said he really loved this little male and that he had a very bright future! He said he appreciated the fineness and soft handle to his fleece. He was also impressed with the degree of density this male was already expresssing for his age and that his second fleece should be very impressive!

His 2025 EPD results are in and we are absolutely delighted with his results! Top 10% for AFD (5.7%) and SF (7.7%), Top 15% (12.3%) for %>30 and Top 25% (20.8%) for SD. We are thrilled with these results in roan and we look forward to including him to our herdsire lineup after we complete the 2026 show season with him. He might not be quite ready this summer but we will give him a chance if he shows interest in breeding as a 2 year old.
