A second cria for our dam Sasha but this time with sire Taji...and yet another fully dilute classic grey from our 2024 cria crop! There's no hidding that we were hoping for a darker colour outcome from this combination as both parents are Eeaa and only had a 25% chance of getting a lighter outcome...yes, we know that we can't win them all!!

The good news is that Saidie was born with the distinctive facial marking of classic grey so we are already knew before even receiving her genotyping results that this little female carried the classic gene from her sire. As expected, Saidie's genotype results came back and she is a fully diluted classic grey!

Saidie comes from a long line of powerhouse females! Just like her dam, Saidie will grow to be a solid frame female with great capacity and with excellent mothering skills. She exhibits a great degree of density on her well-balanced frame. Her fleece is also very fine and uniform with good brightness and a high frequency crimp. We wouldn't expect anything less from her parents as she is the product of powerhouse genetics and a pedigree filled with exceptional classic greys.

We really look forward to seeing her mature and include her into our breeding program!
