GLR JAMAICA is simply phenomenal! She is a solid jet black with a fleece that just hasn't any equal. Her dense fleece consists of layer upon layer of glistening wave and twist locks and her conformation is exact with strong bone and good capacity topped off with a great Suri head. The Judge's recognized her excellence and awarded her JUDGE'S CHOICE at the 2013 AOBA NATIONAL show. A rare achievement for a black!

Jamaica is a true black, full Peruvian, rare Shavano daughter. Shavano is a legend at Great Lakes Ranch and Herdsire of the Year, 2010. Her dam is LCA Jaimica, the daughter of one of Snowmass Alpacas favorite suri dams, Snowmass Foxy Lady. Jamaica shows great presence and has a sweet disposition. She is a Futurity Champion and twice Champion at AOBA Nationals. She did it as a juvenile and continued as a yearling to leave judges in awe of her solid build and amazing fleece.
Biopsy Report, 28 months, Dr Norm Evans - "GLR Jamaica would place in the top 1% of Suri females based on density, (62), S/P ratio, (13.9), and gland presence, (4/4) ." Jamaica's secondary fibers were rated as 21.4 micron showing great fineness, especially for black.
Jamaica delivered a striking, true black female cria, Jetina, in September 2014 sired by Black Beau of PVA. Jamaica's 2016 model is a handsome black boy, Blackrock, by Cinders a Great Lakes Ranch black stud closed to outside breedings. Blackrock was named Res Champion at AOA Nationals and GWAS.
In 2017 Jamaica delivered another outstanding cria, a true black son, Uproar, by Vader. This is a solid boy showing great presence with lots of luster and lock. He won 9 banners in 2018 & 2019 shows, including the AOA National Suri Male Supreme Champion, Futurity Judge's Choice Suri Male and GWAS Judge's Choice Suri Male. WOW!
Jamaica delivered a beautiful true black female, 8/2/2019. Night Out is the full sister of two time National Supreme Champion Uproar.
Her 2021 cria, Gemma, won several Champion banners at fleece and halter shows as a juvi.
Jamaica is bred back to Vader for a 2023 superstar.
