Description

Zaphire did well in her first 2 shows the CNASF & the ALPACA dual spring shows April 2026, placing 1st in both. We look for her to improve in her yearling showings.

Zaphire is the first offspring from Zena crossed with Max factor. She has very fine fibre, excellent character on a strong correct frame. She has a very inquisitive, friendly personality and the show presence of all Zena's offspring.
We try to keep as many of Zena's female offspring as possible, but occasionally will offer one for sale.
Check out her pedigree and U will see on the dams side, there are some real powerhouse ancestors. Jolimont 2 Peruvian Alpamayo was known for producing offspring with high frequency fleeces, that were able to retain length with age. He produced many Supremes & Champions all across Canada. Another notable is Jolimont 2 Peruvian Ivano who had the ability to produce outstanding offspring from mediocre females, such as Amber Autumn Turk, who produced some of the best darks and blacks in both the US and Canada. These 2 males combined genetics was a big factor in purchasing MMR Ascott. One Stud not shown and the sire of Alicoya is Pperuvian Aldo who was Imported by International Alpacas of Canada with 9 other males, he was the standout of these Elite Imports, with density, fleece length at 4 yrs old, fineness with no guard hair, I have yet to see a male that can compare to him. The females on the bottom side also were well known in the showring and for producing top quality fibre with heavy fleece weights.
These genetics came through Strong in Zaphires Dam Zena, who was our first Supreme Alpaca at the CNASF. Which is also a big reason that her offspring are so awesome.
