She's the perfect package and just what we ordered! Gemma is a true example of that next level generation of spots that all appy breeders should be striving for. She's got an absolutely beautiful head, a boxy, stocky frame, a dense, bright fleece, and our personal favorite - lots of spots!

Her sire is an exceptional animal - 33x banner winner, Irish Meadows' Crescendo. He is the most decorated and highly awarded offspring of the late, great Snowmass Matrix (pictured). Crescendo's Judge's Choice dam, Crescent Moon's Elizario's Princess (pictured), also hails from a long lineage of elite animals. She was the 2017 National Champion and the 2021 National Produce of Dam winner.

Gemma's dam, Black Opal is a truly unique example of generations of harlequin genetics. She's a large girl with well-defined leopard spotting throughout her blanket. Her white face is a striking contrast to her dark body. She's sired by a Shasta Springs Kodachrome, a deceased harlequin herdsire out of more rarely used spotted lines. Opal's dam, Bijou, is also a unique harlequin female sired by the well-known Vintage Peruvian Confetti.
