Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Light Fawn, Full Peruvian
    ARI# 35046929 | DOB: 9/16/2013
Mono is a macho male and displays a strong presence. He's got exceptional bone on a typey frame. He sports a dense, uniform fleece, maintaining great structure and staple length as an older male. He's been producing some very nice crias and passes on his positive traits. So far, he's produced as dark as dark brown and as light as light fawn - he even has a roan or modern grey to his name! We've really noticed his ability to push density and structure. He's also got a knack for reducing primary...

    Description

Black Opal - a truly unique example of generations of harlequin genetics. She's a large girl with well-defined leopard spotting throughout her blanket. Her white face is a striking contrast to her dark body. Opal has been an exceptional producer of spotted offspring.

She's sired by a Shasta Springs Kodachrome, a deceased harlequin herdsire out of more rarely used spotted lines. This makes Opal even more special to us - we're so pleased to be able to continue his legacy within our herd. Opal's dam, Bijou, is also a unique harlequin female. She's sired by the well-known Vintage Peruvian Confetti.

Opal is definitely here to stay - we can't wait to see what her future additions bring to the spotty world!

    Notable Ancestors:

    - Vintage Peruvian Confetti (pictured): Harlequin Appaloosa
