**Update Spring 2026** Absolutely love it when senior judges look at this girl and give her comments such as "outstanding frame" and "eye catching" and "awesome for a black, especially at her age" - this is what we want the breeding program to be about. Correct, strong conformation to build upon for the next generations. Her micron is slightly higher than the customary 14 micron show ring blacks, but we are very ok with that because she is uniform, dense, consistent and has full coverage everywhere. Her ancestry has passed the baton nicely in both fiber and frame.

Sassy Sophie – known as “Pazazz” to us on the farm – is the girl you want to see hit the ground on your farm – strong, robust, and solid black. Born on 9/11, this strong little patriot is exactly what we want in a foundation female – the heavy bone is indicative of a solid and correct frame, her full fleece is a deep blue/black which is dense, bright and full and crimp and character.

Her ancestry screams of black and grey (no real wonder she is going to be a key foundation female, eh?). The biggest question is do you breed her to black or grey??
