    Allegheny Pitch Black

    Sire:
    Peruvian Saint Jude

When you are having difficulty getting your females pregnant, pray to the Saint of Miracles -- Saint Jude. The alpaca named Saint Jude is an excellent breeder, settling most of girls after just one attempt.

Full Peruvian Saint Jude is an impressive dark fawn herdsire. He has incredible luster, well-defined locks, excellent coverage, and lots of density in his fleece. His flawless conformation offers a heavy bone with strong size and stature.

Saint Jude is a MULTI-BLUE Ribbon winner. He won the BLUE Ribbon at the 2002 MaPACA Jubilee (the largest alpaca show at that time) in the Bred & Owned Halter Class. Competing against all colors in this class, Saint Jude was placed above the Accoyo male that won the CHAMPIONSHIP of his class. Saint Jude also won the BLUE Ribbon in his 2004 MaPACA Jubilee Fleece Class, as well as the BLUE Ribbon in his 2004 POABA Breeder's Showcase Fleece Class.

The renown suri judge, Susan Tellez, believes that Saint Jude's luster, lock and d

"Lanafina" means "fine fleece." And this girl doesn't disappoint. Peruvian Lanafina is an exceptional deep, dark maroon bred female. She stands out in any herd she's in (including when on a farm in Ohio with over 100 suris).

In addition to her extremely rare, true dark maroon color, she has beautiful luster, tightly penciled locks and great coverage. I believe she has the same maroon shade (maybe even darker) as the highest selling alpaca ever, who sold for in excess of $260,000.

Her sire is nationally known 4Peruvian Royal Damasco who also has a rich maroon fleece with black accents. Lana has been bred to Peruvian Saint Jude, our BLUE ribbon winning herdsire for an October, 2004 cria. Regardless of it is a boy or a girl, the cria should be spectacular.
