We have downsized in order to work on our breeding program. We continue to sell luxurious alpaca products in our home store and at outside venues. Our farm works with our affiliate PAOBA and the Farm Show.
Rainbow Mountain Alpacas is committed to producing and fostering quality within the alpaca industry. Special attention to sound animal husbandry, genetics, nutrition, socialization, reproduction, and general healthcare makes this Western Pennsylvania farm a "must see" for veteran breeders and hobbyists alike.
Founded by the Sheesley and Wingert families in November 2005, Rainbow Mountain Alpacas farm is situated in the rolling hills outside of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, just a 30 minute drive from I-80. Diane Sheesley attributes much of her skill in alpaca care to her years in the nursing field. Diane and daughter, Rachel Wingert, provide most of the animal care at the farm. They are eager to share the wealth of knowledge they've acquired through their research and relationships within the alpaca community.
