Bidding Info

Description

We are very pleased to be in partnership with Susan Hanson of Rainier Alpacas and her amazing light silver grey herdsire, Kaemon Cloud. Kaemon, now settled in at our farm in Caldwell, Idaho, is son to the acclaimed Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud, 2005 National Silver Color Champion, and one of the most sought out silver grey herdsires in the nation. Rincon Cloud has over 180 (champion to second place) offspring on the ground; Kaemon Cloud being one of his most outstanding progeny and two time color champion.

Kaemon has an overload of advanced traits, but one of the most impressive is the staying power of his fine micron levels. His cria fleece measured at 17.1 microns and now at age four he boasts an enduring micron measurement at 18.4 with a comfort factor 99.4%! His confirmation is spot on, perfect top line, full fibered face and dramatic 57.6 curvature of crimp.

This macho male was pleasure to show with his easy going disposition. Kaemon Cloud is the next generation of ultimate silvers and now that his famous sire's breeding offers have been closed to outside farms, the opportunity to infuse "Cloud" genetics is now available to you at a cost effective introductory fee. If I were on the outside looking in, I certainly would take advantage of this opportunity to bring in one of the best grey genetics into your breeding program!
