Congratulations to Julie Judge and Dave Hores of Road Runner Rascals Alpaca Ranch, for their purchase of SNOWMASS SATIN RESERVE XX!

I never thought I would see the day that we would be selling this amazing herdsire, but after we thought it through, we realize the reason and why we do this, is to share our great bloodlines with others!

At the tender age of 19, Missy, or Swiss Miss has been a rock-solid production female for the ROCKSTAR's foundation herd, and a dream to own! She is the champion daughter of the super-fine powerhouse Snowmass Andean Night and Pachacuti's Haze. She is a GREAT mom, breeds, and births with ease and will be the first to greet you in the pasture - especially if you're carrying the pellet bucket! Her fleece after many cria's is still amazingly soft and she is holding her micron in the low 20's, wit...

Description

ROCKSTAR's Layla is a simply lovely Satin Reserve XX daughter, out of our ever dependable Swiss Miss, a Snowmass Andean Night dauther/Snowmass Andean Bronze grandaughter. She has pedigree to burn, with gorgeous fine fawn crimpy fleece. If I did not need to make room for incoming cria, I would not be listing her and her price in no way reflects the awesome quality that she is. Layla has beautiful high frequency, high amplitude fleece, with a very soft handle (19 micron), brightness, nice density and substance of bone. Everything you could want in a foundation female plus a sweet personality to boot.

With the above in mind, we would suggest breeding Layla to our maroon colored Neversumer's Thaddeus to bring out more of her color genetics and provide greater uniformity of micron to her already fine fleece. Thad is the son of the incredible .38 Special, who needs no introduction and Victory's Louisa, a long time member of the Neversummer foundation herd. We would expect that Layla and Thad would produce a cria exhibiting extreme fineness, uniformity, brightness and density with an amazingly soft handle - all the fleece characteristics that define royal grade fiber. OMG... can't wait!
