She's built like a brick outhouse! Belle's nickname on our farm is "Big Belle" . Her fleece just shines with luster. She has consistent lock structure and an ultra-fine hand measuring 18.2 microns at 2 years of age. She has held her fineness over the years also. In 2008 her fineness was 21.8, not to shabby for a seven year old girl! It seems she also passes this quality onto her offspring. Her son, John 3:16, has a fiber diameter of 17.2 microns with zero fibers over 30 microns!
She is a good mom and an easy birther. At this age she needs some Dr. Pollards to help her a bit before and after birthing. She is a strong, healthy, and super inquisitive girl.She likes to be hand fed-be it alpaca feed or carrots. She is one of the "Alpha Females" in our herd.
