Thor has been a fabulous addition to the genetics of our herd. He is tame and gentle and passes that onto his offspring as well. His pedigree includes such greats as Dreadlock, Wooly Bully (import) and Queen Allante (import). He is 3/4 wooly so he adds a little fiber to his offspring as well. Thor is an 'Imperial- Royal' meaning he can throw an Imperial Trim which has the black nose. Thor is quite easy to 'work', he LOVES to be brushed and is quite cooperative in the squeeze chute and head gate. We feel very lucky that he trusts us so much...nothing like the love from a gentle giant!

Yarrow is our pride and joy here at HCC, her birth was a total surprise to us! She was born 8.5mo. after the death of her sire Sherpa H100. She was Sherpa's 50th and final calf born here and we could not have been more grateful, truly a gift from above and one that we could keep and breed to our new bull (Thor Y056). Yarrow's mama is our big beautiful Native Trim Yenna R076 whom we will be forever grateful to. As you can see Yarrow is an extremely good looking royal. She has beautiful markings, great conformation, and a gorgeous head and perfect horns. The best part of Yarrow is her personality...she certainly has her papa's tame and gentle side, she is curious, affectionate and loves people. We feel so lucky to have her in our lives.

Details

This beautiful and friendly Royal boy is named Yulysses S. Grant 2I005. He is out of our Yarrow A033 (our pride and joy) Yarrow was the final calf out of our previous bull Sherpa. He was extremely tame and gentle and his calves/bloodlines are still well sought after today.

Yulysses's sire is our Thor Y056, Thor is very friendly and loves to be petted and brushed. He is a huge gorgeous Royal and throws bull calves that look like himself. Yulysses as well is very friendly and loves head & butt scratches and to be brushed. He is growing fast...probably our tallest calf out of all 6. I suspect he will be a people lover just like his parents and will make a tame gentle herd bull some day.

We request 25% down to hold him until weaning in early Oct. I can create a breeding pair or starter herd with other nearby ranchers. Once a deposit is received, you will receive my 5 page Yak Care Guide and Nutrition articles, so you can be 100% prepared for your new yaks once they arrive. We will deliver within a 150mi. radius, can meet and do a trailer to trailer swap or you can use our 'professional yak hauler' that lives near by.
