Thor has been a fabulous addition to the genetics of our herd. He is tame and gentle and passes that onto his offspring as well. His pedigree includes such greats as Dreadlock, Wooly Bully (import) and Queen Allante (import). He is 3/4 wooly so he adds a little fiber to his offspring as well. Thor is an 'Imperial- Royal' meaning he can throw an Imperial Trim which has the black nose. Thor is quite easy to 'work', he LOVES to be brushed and is quite cooperative in the squeeze chute and head gate. We feel very lucky that he trusts us so much...nothing like the love from a gentle giant!

Yarrow is our pride and joy here at HCC, her birth was a total surprise to us! She was born 8.5mo. after the death of her sire Sherpa H100. She was Sherpa's 50th and final calf born here and we could not have been more grateful, truly a gift from above and one that we could keep and breed to our new bull (Thor Y056). Yarrow's mama is our big beautiful Native Trim Yenna R076 whom we will be forever grateful to. As you can see Yarrow is an extremely good looking royal. She has beautiful markings, great conformation, and a gorgeous head and perfect horns. The best part of Yarrow is her personality...she certainly has her papa's tame and gentle side, she is curious, affectionate and loves people. We feel so lucky to have her in our lives.

Yucatan the Man 2K007 is quite the character, he is out of our favorite cow Yarrow A033 that was born here and was the last daughter out of our first bull Sherpa H100. Sherpa was known to through very tame gentle bulls and I still get requests for his lines 10 yrs. after he died!

Both mama Yarrow and papa Thor Y052 are sweet tame gentle yaks and produce such friendly babies. Yucatan follows Mike around at chore time every morning just waiting for a chance at a butt or head scratch. Yucatan will be IYAK registered, DNA tested, wormed and vaccinated prior to delivery or pick up. We will deliver within a 150mi. radius or can meet and do a trailer to trailer swap.

We can create a breeding pair or starter herd with other ranchers in our area.
