Had a great show at the Tri-State Classic in West Salem, WI yesterday to continue our show season!
We made the trip with just three animals this time—two milkers and a kid—but they sure made it count.
CH CE Rock Run Mango Perzia had an incredible day, taking Best of Breed in 2 rings and representing us so well. We’re so proud of how she continues to mature and compete.
Waving Rushes REN B-Day Wishes, one of our recorded grades, also had a strong showing as a first freshening yearling. She made all 3 champion lineups, and it was exciting to hear a judge comment that they’re really looking forward to seeing her as she continues to develop.
We also pulled our first kid out of the barn this year and Fidder's OBKK Beach Bunny stood well against some really strong competition. She placed 2/3/3 of 6 respectively. She is still in her awkward duckling phase and needs to deepen down into her chest floor as her elbows currently like to "fly" on thier own. Her sister, B-Day Wishes, had the same phase and just needed a little more time to grow up and become a swan and we are expecting the same from this girl!
It was great showing alongside so many great breeders and especially Abby Ball’s beautiful group of does—congratulations on newly championed Ober-Boerd T Vanna, and her CH Dreamy Sunset OBD Pearl, who added another Best of Breed this weekend and looked fantastic as always.
To top it off, thank you to Andy and Melissa Puetz for all of your support, friendship, and for letting our kids run feral and have the best time—it truly makes these shows even more special.
Thanks as always to the show committee for putting on a smooth, well-run event!
