Welcome to Fidder's Dairy Goats

Originally dubbed Fidder's Oberhaslis when my family dove into the deep end of breeding and raising dairy goats. We started out with a few Alpines and some Recorded Grade kids to show in 4-H in Belvidere IL. We ended up with a beautiful Recorded Grade doe kid named Misty that started this whole journey. She is forever my heart goat and was sassy, loved to be in the show ring and was the showmanship doe everyone wished for!

After realizing how much we enjoyed showing goats, we purchased our first Oberhaslis and began 11 years of breeding and showing Oberhaslis, Recorded Grades and the token Nubian. We showed 5 to 15 shows a summer at local county fairs, state fairs, NAILE and Nationals. After graduating and moving to Iowa, my family let the herd go but our passion for goats has endured.

After getting back into goats in 2020, we restarted the herd with Toggenburgs but Korey Statton from Early Rise Acres felt that it wasn't right that a Fidder didn't have an Oberhasli and gifted me with my first Oberhasli in 15 years and restarted my love of the breed. We have been so incredibly lucky to bring some phenomenal animals into the herd included the 5th place 3-year-old at the 2025 Nationals and the BOB and Best Udder at the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair.

We are also so greatful for the dairy goat people that have been god sends while the humans went thru a few life changes. The herd currently resides in Lancaster WI at the Peutz Valley Ranch under the expert care of Melissa and Andy Peutz until they are able to return to Iowa.
