Well we are back from the Alpaca Ontario Spring Show. Close to 400 entries make this one the largest show in Canada.

Tempest 10 months old
Averegan Alpacas is proud to introduce our newest addition to our foundation females.
Memphis Gold Alyst is another Cimmaron Gold Legend daughter, out or a true black Champion, Northmark's Messiah's Prophetess. She is dam to 6x champion Northmark's Atreyu.

Sham Kids!
There is only 11 days until the 2012 Alpaca Ontario Show. It is very exciting and we are getting ready here at Averegan. We have been doing our "Diva Day" just this past weekend, Trimming topknots, needling (ivomec, vitamin D),clipping toe nails, cleaning bums (get that nasty poop out) and picking out those very sticky burs. We also have Hubbert farms whole show team for some last minute halter training and "diva day". My god 19 animals to needle and fix up to look pretty, it took at least 1 hou read more...

These past few weekends some of our crias graduated halter-training school. They have been on a few trips up the barn road and back with no incidents, except for the occasional cat chase. This past weekend though,when my 4 year old nephew was over he found a friend in one of our friendliest cria of the year, Tempest, who he has nickname fluffy.
