The year 2013 has been a very busy one for us but we have met so many nice people that we wouldn’t have met if not for our alpacas. This year we regularly attended the Shelburne, Meaford and Flesherton farmers markets. Weather permitting we would have two alpacas along with us, we now have 12 trained alpacas that we read more...

Another wonderful cria season “we had 3 dark fawn females" Zoom Zoom, Bonnie Blue and Halley, 1 white fluff ball female named Zemma and two silver grey tuxedo males, Sheridan and Khan. All have done very well and are growing so fast. Three of the crias arrived on a shearing weekend, so that slowed down the process a bit, but our helpers loved being able to watch the first steps of the crias.
Shearing in May this year was a bit more challenging thanks to Mother Nature's mood swings. One weekend read more...

A group of seniors from the Adult Day Program in Dufferin County had the opportunity to visit the Kickin' Back Alpaca Ranch near Markdale in June.
