His line is packed with milk, udders that are "socked on" and held tightly to the body, as well as great conformation. This buck also has a personality that is to die for (thanks to his dam Lily)!
He has a very nice head-set for an F3 with ears that have length and a nose that is becoming more convex with age. His neck is long and blends smoothly into his withers which are higher than his hips creating that uphill stance that we are all looking for. These hips have a good angle measuring at approx. 30 degrees.

In the fall of 2021 we took her to our local Harvest Festival where she placed 5th in both rings. As a first time exhibitor I was proud of us for participating and really enjoyed the feedback especially when Treasure was a small doe even as a baby!
Treasure freshened March 17, 2022 with buck doe twins and at 25 DIM she gave 4.7 pounds of milk.
Our next milk test is scheduled for the first week of May and we anticipate an increase in that number. Stay tuned!

Her owner suspected that she had acidosis so we knew her production numbers would not be to her full potential that year. Taking into consideration those factors, I don't think she did too bad!
We decided after 143 DIM to dry her up so that we could let her body heal and revamp for the next season, but in that 143 days that she was on test, her production totaled 369 lbs.

We bred her to Thunder Struck in the fall of 2018 where she produced 2 does and 1 buck.
In 2019 we weren't really challenging any of the does as we were still learning ourselves but Ginger was giving 3.8 pounds of milk and 4.14% butterfat at 112 days fresh.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to breed Ginger in 2019 or 2020 but are really excited to see what the upcoming season does for her!

Her first kidding she delivered at 145 days in the middle of a bitter cold spell. It was -5 with a wind-chill that made it feel -20. She is in a closed barn but there just isn't fighting that kind of cold. She delivered quads but unfortunately we weren't there and all 4 of them froze despite her efforts.
