Big Hat Ranch is a small operation in the mountains of Colorado. We’ve been raising alpacas since 2003.
We have many Champions in white , fawn, and brown, but we specialize in spots! We have several great appy bloodlines with lots of Championships.
In addition to the animals themselves we are full time in the fiber business with our “”in town” store located in Eagle, Colorado, Alpaca, llc. We carry all types of yarn, but focus on Big Hat yarns and fiber. Our goal is to spread the knowledge of alpaca fiber and fiber arts from knitting to spinning to weaving..... Open year round except for a couple weeks when we shear. Customers are also invited to come and see shearing.Big Hat Ranch
