Welcome to Mt. View Alpaca Farm

We are on 5 acres in Thurston Co.,WA., on a dead end gravel road, with the best view of Mt. Rainier when the mountain decides to come out! We have joined with the Thurston Conservation District and become a Voluntary Stewardship Farm. Our goal is to maintain the land in as much an organic state as we can. This will improve the pastures for grazing the alpaca herd, now with 19 herd members soon to be 20 and provide food for our recently added honey bees. Did you know that honey bees are considered live stock? We are learning so much about all our livestock and enjoy when people are interested to come and see the farm. We currently host overnight stays via Harvest Host, so check out their site for more information.

Fun Alpaca farm!

As we move forward in restoring the farm, we have added alpacas. They are gentle on the land and provide premium fertilizer for growing food. The herd is also entertaining. Fortunately, we have enough area where we can watch them run and play, otherwise known as pronking. We are learning so much from them. They add a calming presence and create a happy environment.
