To Enter Paradise
It is said that the Elysian Fields of Greek mythology were hard to reach, but those who were deemed worthy were promised an eternal life of relaxation in a beautiful, golden landscape. And that is just what I've intended for the alpacas of Elysian Fields... a wondrous realm of green grass and rolling hills for them to spend their days enjoying life. It's also said that happy alpacas make better fiber, so we're all about making them as comfortable as possible!
Elysian Fields focuses on breeding alpacas to create luxurious, soft fiber with a wonderfully spotted appaloosa pattern. The fiber and improving the overall health of the animal always comes first, but we won't complain if we see some spots along the way!
As an artist, I also offer my services to create alpaca portraits and paintings in general. I work with both acrylic paint on canvas as well as digital works that can be used on websites as logos, or printed out and framed.
As of Jan 2022, we're just starting up the farm and will not have any animals available for sale until somewhere around Spring of 2023. But please feel free to send me an email if you have any questions about the animals (or artwork) as I love to talk about alpacas! :)
