Thanks for stopping by and checking out our page! Our love of alpacas started long ago but we established Happy Rock Farm in 2019. We went from 0 to 22 alpacas in one day. Luckily we had been researching and visiting other farms for years so we knew what we were getting into. (So we thought!) An opportunity arose where 22 alpacas ranging in age from 1 to 18 became available but they needed to be picked up immediately. So we rented a trailer and set off on an 8-hour drive to get them. And so our real education began. We acquired a very well bonded group of males, females, and crias. We began by scanning for microchips and searching those numbers up in the AOA registration database. We ended up with about half registered and half pet/fiber animals. We were perfectly happy with all our new additions. Since then we have added many more registered alpacas to our herd and are excited to see where our breeding program takes us!

Happy Rock Farm is a small family friendly farm where we raise 22 adorable alpacas for their amazing fleece.
Our farm store booth is located in downtown Dickinson at A2Z Crafts & Antiques and is full of awesome alpaca products for ages 1-100. We participate in a small farmer co-op that helps turn our fiber into product.
