Need to Know:
-We have some very sweet, friendly alpacas that are curious and love to come up to check everyone out, but we do not guarantee any close interactions. They typically come up to the visiting areas and some even like to have a neck rub, but we can't guarantee it.
-We do not allow ANY offsite animals, including assistance, therapeutic, or support animals, certified or not. Our guard dogs do not understand the difference in your working animal and animals with malintent.
-The farm is still working on becoming fully ADA compliant, but we still have a few challenges for some guests. There are ramps to allow access to all areas, but there are ledges at some doorways, loose gravel paths, and uneven walking areas. We also have loud fans that keep the alpacas cool but may be difficult for those who are noise sensitive.
-We do not allow any "treat" feeding on the farm. Thank you very much for wanting to bring something special for them, but we are very careful with what and how much the animals eat. Alpacas have a long list of foods that are dangerous for them and we air on the side of caution.
