Our alpaca farm welcomes you to connect with the beauty of these animals, their gorgeous fibre and innovative & eco-friendly agricultural practices. Our alpaca herd has grown into a family farm, operating as a daughter/mother partnership. Discovering these beautiful animals has been a real treat! Forest Cove is home to Alpacas with unique personalities, colours and genetics! We strive for excellence in fleece quality, temperament & genetics.
We are located on the outskirts of the Algonquin Park, 1.5 hours North West of Ottawa in the picturesque Upper Ottawa Valley where the air is fresh, the Ottawa River flows and Natures Beauty is inspiring. Our farm is open to the public a few days per week.
Come to our Farm Boutique to browse alpaca products - comfortable alpaca socks, cozy blankets, hand spun yarns, luxurious knitwear and handmade alpaca gifts. Whether you visit for a day or stay for a night, be certain you will make a connection with the alpacas, your heart will be full and perhaps leave with an alpaca stuffy as a reminder of your fun filled adventure!! We welcome visitors to walk the trails and walk the self-guided educational path which leads you through a wooded forest area and alpaca enclosures, while embracing nature and admiring alpacas from the fence line. Needless to say, alpacas are an instant hit with locals and tourists alike!
