🐑 Rancho Relaxo – 2025 Intro
Welcome to Rancho Relaxo, where every sheep has a name and a story. Our 2025 flock is made up of 22 carefully selected sheep, including Valais Blacknose crosses, Romneys, Finns, Babydolls, and more — all part of our intentional breeding and fiber program.
We are proudly focused on upbreeding Valais Blacknose Sheep using F1 through F3 ewes and our purebred Valais ram, Captain. Our goal is to produce structurally sound, wool-forward lambs with strong temperaments and excellent fleece quality — perfect for fiber enthusiasts and future pet owners alike.
Twice a year, our flock provides us with beautiful, cruelty-free wool, which we transform into rugs, roving, yarn, and more through Heritage Woolworks. Our livestock live peaceful, well-loved lives under the watch of our gentle Pyrenees dogs. Guinea hens and peahens roam freely, keeping rodents and ticks at bay.
Each spring, lambing season brings new energy to the ranch. In 2025, we’re expecting around 40 lambs — ranging from 50% to 90% Valais Blacknose — bred with love and raised for health, fiber, and companionship. Whether you're seeking a fleece to spin or a lamb to bring home, you're always welcome to connect with our flock.

2025 Spring Lambing Update
Spring lambing is complete here at Rancho Relaxo! We’re thrilled to welcome 8 male and 6 female lambs to the flock — each one a fluffy bundle of personality and promise. These lambs represent the next generation of our Valais Blacknose upbreeding program, and several carry Babydoll or other heritage lines as well.
