Located at 10,000 feet in the Wet Mountains of Colorado, Canaan West Ranch breeds Tibetan Yaks for sale as breeding stock. With cool weather, ample feed, and a helping hand we have fun developing quality breeding stock and then finding each yak a new pasture where they can thrive and reach their potential.
Given we are a small operation ( a hobby gone haywire), we partner with Sage Hill Ranch (Gunnison, CO) for those looking for a complete starter herd. This allows us to provide a bull + heifers/cows combination that meets your desires in terms of color, fiber type, etc and provides diverse bloodlines for your operation.
