Oaks and Arrows was started by the Niesen family in 2023.The desire to work the land God made and live a more fulfilling life called them to purchase raw land and move their family of 6 into a camper while they build a house. The farm is mostly woods, as it was a hunting property, but thanks to the pigs and some elbow grease, it is slowly becoming silvo pasture. American Guinea Hogs were the choice of hog due to their amount of lard and easy temperament. They have been a true joy to keep and will probably never stop being a part of Oaks and Arrows. If you are interested in purchasing piglets to raise or invest in a hog share for meat, please reach out to us. We are registered with the AGHA and our hogs are raised on non-GMO feed. They are free of antibiotics and other medications. They happily live in the woods eating what they can find and laying in the sun.
