Nestled in the rolling hills of rural Tennessee, next to the Sequatchie River, Thunder Mountain Acres is a peaceful, family-run farm where life moves a little slower—and a lot fluffier. The farm is a labor of love and a place where the simple joys of nature and animals come to life every day. Here, mornings begin with gentle alpaca hums and the soft clucks of our chickens, wild antics of the emus and the pace encourages you to breathe deeply, explore freely, and reconnect with what really matters. Holiday Festival
This year, we are partnered with Noel Productions and have guest reindeer in training during November and December. Visit our farm, meet the reindeer--Santa is planning a few visits to check in on his reindeer and he just might pose for some pictures. You can walk an alpaca, ride in a cart pulled by donkeys and end your day in our holiday gift shop.
