Welcome to Zahler Farm
Zahler Farm is located in Ramona, CA, about 30 miles northeast of San Diego.
We started our alpaca endeavors in December of 2023 when we purchased three female alpacas as pets from a Craigslist ad. Several months later, we made the decision to try to create a business around these lovely animals and began searching for additional breeding females to add to our foundation herd. The following year, we were able to purchase two amazing females and a lovely male cria who has proven to have quite spectacular fleece. In 2025 we acquired some additional females to add to our foundation group and began to explore the show circuit.
Our farm itself is a work in progress. When we purchased the land in 2018, our original plan was to create a small private equestrian facility. This goal still remains, but alpacas have become a nice addition as we work to that end. In the future, we hope to offer boarding/ageisting for both horses and alpacas, delve further into the fiber industry, and turn out high quality suris! We also offer organic chicken eggs for sale on a limited basis.
