Welcome to Oscars Meadows
Hello, we're Oscar's Meadows, a small homestead that started out in 2018 raising Kunekune pigs. Kunekunes are a small heritage breed that thrive on pasture and are known for their friendly disposition. By 2020 we were searching for another species to add some diversity to our pasture rotation. A piglet customer told us about their Valais Blacknose Sheep and after some research we were hooked. 2023 marked our first lambs from imported embryos and in the spring of 2025 we welcomed our first lambs from our own fullblood ewes and ram.
Our goal is to raise healthy, friendly animals that conform to their breed standards.
