Welcome to Velvet Ridge Farm and Market
We are a small alpaca farm situated on 20 acres in Western NY. Located on historic Ridge Road half way between Rochester and Buffalo. Our 7 alpacas and 5 barn cats are all named after singers and are ready for visitors. Call to reserve a tour of our farm and to take a walk with alpacas. While visiting the farm, you can shop at our Market located in the basement of our 150 year old barn. We offer many alpaca products including homemade apparel, felted goods and our top selling hand felted dryer balls made at our farm. We also offer homemade fudge, baked goods, soaps, candles and local honey, maple syrup, spices, jellies and sauces. You will find wonderful gift ideas from vintage to homemade items. We open at the end of May until Christmas Eve on weekends 10-4 and 10-6 during holiday seasons. Look for events throughout the year and we welcome photographers, and inquiries for birthday parties and small events. We give educational tours as well and welcome people interested in learning more about alpaca management.
