Welcome to Hardly Farm
Hardly Farm is a family-owned alpaca farm in Franklin County, North Carolina, dedicated to responsible alpaca breeding, quality animal sales, and meaningful agritourism experiences. Our breeding program focuses on strong genetics, sound conformation, excellent fiber quality, and calm, people-friendly temperaments. We thoughtfully raise and offer select alpacas for sale, supporting both new and experienced breeders while prioritizing animal welfare and education.
Beyond breeding, Hardly Farm welcomes visitors to connect with agriculture firsthand through guided farm tours, field trips, and special events. Guests can meet our alpacas and resident llama, learn about alpaca care and fiber production from pasture to product, and explore the role of sustainable farming in our community. Our on-farm store features farm-grown alpaca yarn, handmade fiber goods, and unique gifts crafted from our own herd.
At its heart, Hardly Farm is about stewardship, education, and connection—bringing people closer to animals, agriculture, and the stories behind the fiber, while fostering a warm, family-friendly farm experience.
