Welcome to Painted Skies Homestead!
Located in Wilder, Idaho, we are a small homestead dedicated to raising healthy, well-cared for animals under wide open skies. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every animal is raised with intention and given the care, space, and time needed to thrive.
Our primary focus is a small chicken breeding program specializing in blue, green, and olive egg genetics with an emphasis on friendly temperaments, strong egg production, and overall hardiness.
We offer hatching eggs, chicks, and started pullets from our colored egg lines and are proud to be an NPIP participating flock with current negative Pullorum-Typhoid and Avian Influenza status.
We also maintain a herd of ADGA registered standard dairy goats and plan to offer kids beginning in Spring 2028.

Farm Terms & Financing
All animals are guaranteed healthy at pickup. A 48-hour health window is provided; after that, responsibility transfers fully to the buyer.
A non-refundable deposit (typically 25%) is required to reserve animals. Deposits are applied to the purchase price and may be forfeited if the buyer cancels, fails to communicate, or does not complete pickup. Animals must be picked up within 5 days of the agreed date unless otherwise arranged; failure to do so may result in forfeiture and relisting.
If an animal becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances on our end, the buyer may choose a deposit transfer or a full refund.
Remaining balance is due at pickup unless otherwise agreed. Pickup is at our location in Wilder, Idaho. Buyers must provide transport. Delivery may be available for a per-mile fee. Shipping (including hatching eggs or chicks) may be offered in accordance with applicable regulations.
